All Party Parliamentary Jazz Awards

For the last two years we have been shortlisted in the Jazz Venue of the Year category in the All Party Parliamentary Awards, most recently in October 2017 when Scarborough Jazz Festival were the winners. Whilst not successful on both occasions we were delighted to have been nominated in the first place.

Watermill Jazz Facebook Page

Kathryn Shackleton has set up a facebook page for Watermill Jazz and she would be really grateful if those of you who have a facebook account would 'like' the club please. To do this, just click here
Watermill Jazz photographers Jon Frost and Chris Horne provide photos to go on the page each week, so do go and relive some of the great gigs by taking a look.

Menuhin Hall

We have since 2006 been privileged to present each year a concert at this superb 300 seater acoustic venue, based on the site of the Yehudi Menuhin School in Stoke d'Abernon. Our connection with the Menuhin was instigated by the late John Usher, who for many years was at the forefront of the local arts scene in the Mole Valley area.
Previous concerts have featured firstly Stan Tracey performing his own composition Under Milk Wood, then John Taylor & Gwilym Simcock, Acoustic Triangle, Cleo Laine, Acker Bilk, John Williams & John Etheridge, Claire Martin & Sir Richard Rodney Bennett, Pete Long's All-Star Goodmen Orchestra, Stacey Kent, Big Chris Barber Band, Joe Stilgoe [joined on stage on the evening by his father Richard Stilgoe] and Pasadena Roof Orchestra. The most recent concert in June 2018 featured the world-renowned percussionist Evelyn Glennie with Scottish jazz ensemble Trio HLK.

Our 2019 concert will feature Keith Nichols and the Blue Devils on Saturday 9th of November. All bookings for this concert will be through the Menuhin boxoffice or online via their website.
